I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to God for allowing me to live in a nation where I am able to not only vote but participate in the political process.
My desire to seek the position of Hidalgo County Republican Chair stems from my passion to serve. If given the opportunity by the Republican Party primary voters in March to serve as Chair, my focus will be on the following stated goals:
- Increase the number of Precinct chairs to our County Executive Committee to 50% or 128 of Hidalgo County Voting Precincts.
- Focus on electing conservative Republican candidates to county positions.
- Exceed voter participation in the Republican County Primary vs the Democratic Primary.
- Ensure our message of conservative fiscal and family values are not just expressed but implemented by our Republican elected officials.
Our county now more than ever needs an alternative to the one-party system we currently have. As Hidalgo County Chairwoman I will work with our grassroots, State and National Republican elected officials to elect our first county Republican elected official in over 100 years.
